Act V

"My lord, my lord!  What ho!  My lord, my lord!"  This was said by Emilia in Act V when she was searching for Othello to tell him about Cassio and Roderigo.  When she found him, she realized that he had just killed Desdemona.  Emilia was so distraught.  This incident really changed Emilia and caused her to become a dynamic character of the story.  At the beginning of the story, she was very quiet and never spoke up for herself.  She would just allow Iago to tell her what to do.  However, this time she stuck up for herself and told the things she knew, which would get Iago into trouble.  She really changed throughout the story, and this was a very brave thing for her to do!
