Act IV/ Foreshadow

"Lie with her!  Lie on her!- We say lie on her when they belie her- Lie with her."  This quote is something Iago said in Act IV.  This line caused much more drama throughout the story.  It outraged Othello because Iago was lying again saying that Cassio was lying or sleeping with Desdemona.  This really caused Othello want to do something crazy, such as kill Desdemona.  However, what really sent him over the edge was when Iago tricked Othello into thinking Desdemona gave Cassio the handkerchief.  There was something in this act that foreshadowed that Othello with most likely kill Desdemona.  Not only was he talking about it and planning about it, but he actually hit Desdemona when she was talking about Cassio.    This act revealed much more about the kind of man Iago was, and I am actually interested to see what is going to happen next!
